About Layne

Layne writes and reads fantasy fiction. Keep an eye out for Ella Scott, who publishes romance fiction.

She served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years.

During this time she also became a Nationally Certified EMT before completing her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice.

Layne is working toward an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing at Emerson College, where she volunteered for the Non-Fiction team of the Redivider Journal and the President of her Graduate Student Organization!

She is also attending Capella University for her MS in Mental Health Counseling, working her way towards earning her LPC.

She is the founder of Mosaic Gray Publishing, which seeks to publish works with social and personal empowerment at the forefront of storytelling.

Layne is wife to Ryan, and mother to William, Oliver, and Isabel.
